Disc Springs

Disc springs are shallow conical rings that are subject to axial loads. Normally, the ring thickness is constant and the applied load is evenly distributed over the upper inside and lower outside edges. Disc springs can be combined in many different ways to form parallel or series stacks or a combination therof.

Belleville Washers (Conventional Disc Springs)

Mubea washers are manufactured per the requirements of DIN 2093 and Mubea Factory standards or to the customer requirements. Outer diameter sizes range from 8.0 mm to 800 mm, with various materials. Disc with a thickness of 0.5 mm and greater are shot-peened to improve fatigue life.

Special Springs

Internally or Externally Slotted Disc springs

Slotted disc springs are typically developed in close collaboration with customers. Outer diameter sizes range from 20 mm to 300 mm. Special production process are used to maintain extremely high tolerances and to achieve the maximum possible fatigue life.

Wave Springs

Mubea produces wave springs with outer diameters ranging from 20 mm to 300 mm. Wave springs are often used to improve shift quality in automatic transmissions and are designed per the customer specific requirements.
