Mubea Disc Springs at The SEMA Show
At the end of October Mubea participated in one of the biggest tradeshows in Las Vegas, The SEMA show. The SEMA Show happens once a year and it is highly anticipated, this year it drew in more than 162,000 individuals, 70,000 domestic and international buyers and 2,400 exhibiting companies. That was one aspect of the show that really stood out to us, the amount of people that were walking the show every moment of the day. It was the place to be in Las Vegas that weekend. SEMA is also a place of innovation as this year’s show featured nearly 3,000 newly introduced parts, tools and components.
Mubea took products from various departments of the company to showcase at the show, which included Stabilizer Bars, Disc Springs, Engine Valve Springs, Hose Clamps, the Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic (CFRP) hybrid wheel and the side view mirror housing. The Stabilizer Bars and our carbon fiber were our stars during the show.
The show itself presented us with new opportunities, specifically in the aftermarket business focusing on performance. We also found new potential in industries and for applications in fields we have not previously been in. The show helped us expand our horizons and the uses of our product. All in all SEMA was a very good fit for Mubea and we are excited to see what is going to come out of it, so much so that we have already signed up to go back next year. Due to the interest we received at the SEMA show we will be walking the Performance Racing Industry Show (PRI) in December in Indianapolis. Let us know if you will be there.
